Their lived experience shaped HRMNY’s relational workflow — a system that reflects how assessments happen in the real world.
HRMNY has developed a purpose built, rule-based platform that streamline adult social care assessment process
Key innovations:
Proprietary empathic AI/NLP engine
For advanced triage/risk stratification: with our LLM uniquely trained on legislation and best practice; automatically extracting key information (from unstructured text: clinical notes/referral letters/care reports) to auto-fill forms, flag high-risk/urgent cases, improve prioritisation and ensure rapid intervention.
Explainable decision-support
Transparent AI recommendations to build trust (showing factors driving predictions), improve oversight and support regulatory compliance (with audit-ready logs).
Compliance monitoring
AI-assisted tracking of statutory deadlines (21-day DoLS), document completeness (missing consent forms) and audit trails, reducing breach risks and supporting proactive intervention.
Bias monitoring
Tracking performance across demographic groups to detect/mitigate bias, ensuring equitable outcomes.
Interface co-designed with LAs/NHS
Including conversational AI virtual assistants for assessors (with role-based collaboration), families and staff to improve access to information and reduce operational burden.
HRMNY is fundamentally different from existing systems by purpose and design.
These are primarily decades-old case tracking/data storage tools/case management; these are not built to manage complexity, pace or multidisciplinary nature of statutory assessments, and don’t provide intelligent environments that support assessors in real-time.
HRMNY, by contrast, is purpose built, designed ground-up to orchestrate statutory workflows (DoLS/CareAct/COP3).
It is co-designed/co-developed with LAs, DoLS Managers/Leads/Heads of Services, Best Interest Assessors, Approved Mental Health Professionals, Section 12 doctors and independent mental capacity advocates to ensure affordability and overcome barriers to adoption.
HRMNY system has proven to:
(based on improved speed/reduced duplication/workforce efficiency/avoided outsourcing/mitigated legal and compliance costs)
1. Save 12.5 hours/case
Through faster information sharing, automated paperwork, and streamlined scheduling.
2. Free 4million staff hours annually
Relieving overburdened staff. Save £63m by clearing 123,790 DoLS backlog (based on blended £40/hr staff costs).
3. Save £637.6m/year
When implemented across DoLS (332,455 assessments/year), Care Act (1.5m/year), Section 49 (49k/year), CHC MHA (44k/year), IMHA (146k/year)
